Cauce, in a few words

What is Cauce?

Cauce is an independent studio in Mexico that designs and builds immersive websites. Every project is designed, coded and looked after personally by Johonatan Cordero, an independent web designer, from strategy to launch. There is no account executive: you talk to the person who writes the code.

Where is Cauce based?

In Mexico City (CDMX). The work is remote from start to finish, so I work with clients across Mexico and abroad, in Spanish and English.

What is an immersive website?

It is a page you travel through instead of reading it like a document: as you scroll, the scene changes, and motion, animation and 3D tell the idea in the order it is best understood. This very page is an example: a descent from outer space to the bottom of the sea.

How much does a website with Cauce cost?

Work is quoted by scene. The main scene starts at $2,500 USD, with domain and hosting included for the first year; additional scenes cost less, because they reuse the world that is already built. Ongoing care starts at $150 USD per month.

How long does it take?

The main scene, 2 to 3 weeks, live and running. Payment is a 50% deposit to hold the date and 50% on delivery.

Who is it for?

Brands where the first impression decides the sale: product launches, real estate pre-sales, hotels and restaurants, schools and premium brands. If you only need basic presence, a template will serve you and costs less.

What happens after delivery?

You get a 30-day warranty: any functional error is fixed at no cost. After that, changes are requested on WhatsApp or by email, and before anything is done I tell you in writing whether it is covered by your plan or what it costs. With ongoing care, from $150 USD a month, the agreed content changes are included; without it, each change is quoted separately.

What do I get when the project is finished?

The domain and hosting in your name, with their logins; the site and its content, which are yours once 100% is paid; and a complete copy of the files. They are standard files —HTML, CSS and JavaScript—, with no visual builder or plugins: they can be hosted on another server and another developer can work on them.

How do I contact Cauce?

By WhatsApp at +52 55 9100 6668 or by email at johonatan@encauzar.com. Work is done in English and Spanish, remotely from Mexico City.
